Advertising can generate lots of leads/prospects for your business than any other avenue… This is why I am a strong advocate for paid advertising. The flip side to this is that it costs money and a business that is growing might not have the budget to continuously spend on ads.
Now, how do you reduce cost?
1. Good content
This is non-negotiable, every material You want to use to get customers must be really good enough to grab their ATTENTION before they take any action. Always remember, if You can get them to listen and follow You, they will pay You .
2. Target specific Audience
Any platform You want to have has mixed multitude. For instance, Port Harcourt has over 1 million people active on Facebook. You need to narrow down your audience to the fraction that may likely buy from you
3. Re-targeting Ads
This Is the Holy grail of advertising. This is where the magic happens, to clarify, where the money falls on you?
After You have run your advertisement campaign for a specific time, re-targeting for conversion is essential. You can Re-target people who visit your landing page(website), this is very important! Also, Re-targeting based on percentage of views is also another way, Re-targeting based on number of times spent on your landing page also counts.
I advocate for every business in digital marketing space to have a simple landing page, at least for Re-targeting purposes.
4. Good sales process
No matter the quality of leads driven to your business, if You can’t sell them, You won’t see result. Make sure You have a good working sale process to convert leads driven to You through advertising.
